I am excited to be at our new high school, Captial City High School. It has been a long journey to get to this point.
I grew up in Jefferson City and attended JCHS for high school, graduating from those halls many years ago. After graduation I joined the US Army and stayed in service for 24 years at which time, I retired. During my career, I have been blessed to experience various cultures, communities, and peoples. I have spent time in rural, suburban, and urban centers in the United States. From Missouri, to Georgia, Texas, and Washington. Internationally, I have lived in West Germany, Egypt, Canada, and Israel.
After retiring, I have experience in several business fields in the Central Missouri.
While serving, I also enrolled in Columbia College where I earned a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History. I also minored in Business and Management. After retiring, I went back to Columbia College to earn my teaching certification.
Personally, I am married for over 20 years and we live just outside Jefferson City with many animals. I enjoy music, reading, fishing, and kayaking.
