Lewis and Clark Middle School

Hello! My name is Mrs. Amber Brasier (aka Mrs. B), and I am the 6th grade counselor at LCMS this year!  I am a proud graduate of Missouri State University, with a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I was an elementary school counselor for 8 years at Springfield Public Schools at Robberson Elementary. Prior to that I taught grades 4-6 in Walnut Grove Elementary, as well as 4th grade at Shook Elementary in Marshfield.  I am currently earning my certification for my LPC license (Licensed Professional Counselor).

My husband, Jason, and I met in high school and have been married almost 20 years. We have a 17-year-old daughter named Summer, who is a junior in high school. We also have 3 dogs: Ruthie, a mini blue heeler; Gizmo, a chihuahua/jack russell mix; and Charlie, a yorkie.

Some of my hobbies and interests include spending time with my family and my dogs, reading, and watching our favorite movies and shows together!  

My goal this year is to get to know all the new 6th grade students and building relationships with them and their families. It's an exciting time for them, and I love watching them grow into amazing humans!
