Hello, my name is Megan McReynolds, and would like to welcome you to my classroom webpage! I am a product of the Jefferson City School District, a 2002 graduate of Jefferson City High School, and am so excited to be your teacher at Capital City High School (Go CAVS!!!). I was a collegiate softball player while earning my Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri. I then went on and earned my Master's in the Arts of Teaching Science degree from the University of Central Missouri and have my Education Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from William Woods University.I am entering my 18th year of teaching, with this being my 15th year in the district. I teach Project Lead the Way Biomedical Sciences classes (PBS, HBS, and BI) during the regular school year and Physical Education during summer school, and look forward to an awesome school year! What I love most about teaching are the connections I make with students, seeing them grow into young adults, getting to do amazing hands-on labs/experiments, and making them excited to learn about the human body! I am also the Assistant Varsity and Head Junior Varsity Softball Coach for Capital City and the Head 7th Grade Girl's Basketball Coach at Thomas Jefferson Middle School. If I'm not at school, I love spending time with my kids, working out, being physically active, going to sporting events, coaching, running my kids everywhere, shopping, eating out, traveling, watching movies, and listening to music!!
