North Elementary

I am very excited for my 13th year of teaching third grade in the district. This is my 6th year at North

I have two wonderful boys. My oldest, Kaleb, is a North School and JCPS graduate. My youngest, Noah, is a fourth grader here at North. 

Teaching is actually my second career. I graduated from Central Missouri State University in 2002 with a degree in Marketing. While working in the business field, I often volunteered in Kaleb's classrooms. I knew early on that I belonged in a classroom.

With my husband’s support, I went back to school to pursue my education degree, graduating with my B.S. in Elementary Education in December, 2010. I have since then completed my Masters in Educational Technology from William Woods. I am a lifetime student! If it weren't so expensive, I would be back in school working on another masters, or maybe even my doctorate. I will be back at school soon enough!

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, learning, exercising, and playing games with my family. I look forward to a fantastic year of teaching and learning in 3rd grade!
