South Elementary

Welcome!  This is my 22nd year in education and my 10th year as the Library Media Specialist at South School.  I taught 3rd grade for 12 years at South School and moved to the library in 2015.  I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Lincoln University in 2003 with a B.S. in Elementary Education and a minor in Math and Computer Science.  I was born and raised in Jefferson City, Missouri.  My husband, Travis, and I have three sons.  Bryson is a Sophomore in College, Blake is a Senior in Highschool, and Carter is in 7th grade, so I get to play the role of a teacher and a parent!  When I am away from school I enjoy watching my sons play sports.  I love the Kansas City Royals, watching movies, and spending time with my family.  My favorite color is blue and my favorite food is chocolate!
