    Good Morning and welcome to TJMS, where we get better every day because it's the TJ Way! 
    Today is Thursday, May 8, 2025  
     
     
    SCHOOL STARTS AT 8:50AM, TJ'S DOORS WILL OPEN AT 8:20AM (UNLESS YOU ARE ENROLLED IN BEFORE-SCHOOL CARE THROUGH THE YMCA). SCHOOL WILL DISMISS AT 3:50PM.  
     
    THE LAST DAY FOR THE AFTERNOON ACTIVITY BUS IS TUESDAY, MAY 20TH - TJMS ACTIVITY BUS has begun. TJ will have two after-school Activity Buses for students needing to stay after school for sports or other activities. The 1st Activity Bus arrives at TJ at 5:00pm (departs at 5:15pm) and the 2nd Activity Bus arrives at 5:45pm (departs at 6:00pm). If your student plans to ride the Activity Bus, they must sign up at the office window EVERY DAY by 1:00pm. There will be no exceptions if they forget. The Activity Bus runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
    There is NO Activity Bus on Fridays. 
     
     
    CLUBS at TJMS:

    FINISHED FOR THE YEAR - Boom & Step Club: (you must have a ride at 5:00 or sign up for the 5:00 Activity Bus)  Email Mr. Donehue (troy.donehue@jcschools.us) for the Google Classroom code if you are interested in joining Boom & Step.  There are several practice videos already posted.

    Students participating in the Patriot Reader's Challenge,if you reach level 4, that is a total of 22 books, a mixture of the Truman's, Twain's, and Dogwoods and pass the quizzes, you will get to attend the Fieldtrip (the place has yet to be determined)! Deadline for the Patriot Reader's Challenge is February 14, 2025! We have several Mark Twains in right now.  Remember, you can login to Destiny and put the Truman's and Twain's on hold.
