Hello and welcome to our classroom site!  I am Mrs. Sprenger.  I have lived in Jefferson City my entire life (except while attending college in Kirksville and Columbia) and graduated from Jefferson City High School in 1994.   I received a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri in 1999, and a Masters of Education from the University of Missouri in 2004. This is my 25th year of teaching.  I taught ten years of third grade at Southwest Elementary, ten years of fourth grade at Pioneer Trail, and this will be my fifth year in 6th grade.  I'm very excited to be teaching writing and helping 6th graders discover the power of their words.  I have been married to my husband, Chris, for twenty-four years.  We have one daughter, Ruby, who attends Missouri State University.  As a family, we enjoy going to any and all sporting events and working on our home.  We have two Australian Shepherds, Levi and Piper, and Horton the cat.
