Career
I fell in love with strength and conditioning/athletic performance at an early age and it has engrossed my life since. After I graduated high school I decided to pursue an education in it from Mizzou. I graduated from Mizzou with an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Fitness in 2013. During my senior year, I began an internship with the Mizzou Strength and Conditioning Staff working with all sports. Following graduating Mizzou I accepted a graduate assistant position at William Woods University where I continued my pursuit of helping athletes achieve excellence through strength and conditioning. During this time I also maintained an internship at Mizzou working with Basketball specifically. I was also a part time trainer at Columbia Speed Academy. Succeeding finishing my masters degree, I was promoted to head trainer at Columbia Speed Academy which shortly turned into MU Human Performance Institute. From October 2015 - July 2019 I was supervisor of MU Human Performance Institute where I implemented the direction, development, and design of programs and staff development.
Personal
I am from Mid-Missouri where I grew up in Wardsville and attended Blair Oaks High School. Most of my family still live in Mid-Missouri so I enjoy spending most of my free time with them and my wife. I have been married 3 years to my wife, Courtney. Other than spending time with my family most of my hobbies would involve any kind of physical activity (working out, recreational sports, etc.). Sports have consumed my life since a young age. I participated in Baseball, Basketball, and Football all the way through high school. This is a big reason why I love to watch, play, and train individuals for any sport.
