Welcome! My name is Mrs. Hankins. I am excited to begin my fifth year with the staff and students of Thomas Jefferson Middle School! I graduated from Iowa State University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences Studies and Education.  This will be my 9th year teaching Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS). During my teaching career I have taught middle school and high school in Iowa, Minnesota, and Missouri. As a teacher, my goal for the Thomas Jefferson Middle School FCS Department is to equip students with skills to become a viable, productive member of society.

 Outside of school, I enjoy golfing, shopping, boating, and spending time with my husband and our pups - Roy, Ellie, and Murphie.
