Hello!
My name is Ms.Washington and I am an English I teacher at JCHS. I am from Mid-Missouri, and attending JCHS for a period of time before moving. I graduated high school in 2014 at Fulton Senior High School. After graduation I traveled to West Point New York to attend the United States Military Academy. I spent four years in the military as a Cadet. After my third year, I returned to Missouri to raise my daughter. I attened Westminster College where I played Softball for two years. I studied Political Science with an Emphasis in Law, with the intention of going to law school. I even took the LSAT, and began applying to different law programs. In the meantime, I began substitue teaching at Fulton Middle School, where I taught everything from Art to English. This is where the education profession sunk its claws into me, and I loved every second. Shortly after I began as a substitute, I began persuing my English Teaching Certification. I became fully certified in K-12 English last year. That is when i decided that it was time to make the move to a larger district and sought out JCHS and eventually became a Jay once again. I cannot wait to begin this journey at JCHS! Let's make this a great year!
With Excitment,
Ms.Washington
