Hello families, I would like to take this time to tell you all a little about myself. I hailed from the city of St. Louis, MO, born and raised. All through grade school, I did well with my academics, so after graduating I wanted to further my educational experience. I decided to apply to Lincoln University of Missouri.  I earned my B.S. in Liberal Studies. God blessed me with a son during that time frame. Once he was old enough, I decided to go back to school for my Masters. In the fall of 2019, I enrolled back in school at Lincoln University of Missouri for my Masters in Education Guidance and Counseling. I graduated in the spring of 2022! In between that time of going to school for my Masters degree, I worked in early child care and also as a paraprofessional in the Jefferson City School District at various schools. I say this to let you all know that you can achieve and succeed if you put your mind to it and stay directly on that path. I had many things stacked up against me, but I knew where my destination was and it was to be apart of something greater than myself. I want the children of South Elementary to know there is a light at the end of that tunnel. Believe and achieve! Hope this school year will be a blessing to you as parents, teachers and staff as we step forth each and everyday for these little learners.
