Hello Everyone!

I am super excited to be sharing this school year with all of you! After a 16-year hiatus from education, I am looking forward to beginning this journey at Jeffeson City High School. While we will review and learn functional skills of English, grammar and writing, I hope my students take away a new-found love and respect for reading - no matter the length, content, or what form it comes in. 

I am a Jefferson City native and live here with my husband and my 2 youngest kids, Grace who is a sophomore at JCHS, and Allee who is an 8th grader at LCMS. My second-oldest son and his fiancé live here as well and made me a first time Gigi in December 2023. My oldest daughter lives in Texas and will make me a Gigi for a second time this October. I have two fur babies in the form of Boston Terriors - Tucker Maxwell and Macy Mae - who are the cutest things ever! 

Outside of school, I spend my time driving my girls around while they live their best lives socially and as competitive dancers - where I also teach several different styles of dance at Elite Performing Arts.
