Ms. Elizabeth T Bennett

I am proud to join, Jefferson City High School as a biology teacher.  With a passion for science and education, I am excited to inspire students to explore the fascinating world of biology and its role in our lives.

I bring a diverse background to the classroom, having served as a navy veteran and worked as a professional in several fields.  In addition to teaching, I've owned a coffee shop, founded a nonprofit that educates and trains individuals with disabilities and authored a book series, currently awaiting to be published, with Down syndrome navigating the challenges of mainstream education.  These experiences have taught me the importance of hard work, resilience, and creating inclusive spaces where everyone can succeed.

As a single parent of three, I understand the value of education in shaping futures.  Growing up as a Native American and balancing my heritage with modern society has given me a unique perspective on life, and I am passionate about helping students discover their own strengths and paths.

I look forward to bringing my experiences and enthusiasm to Jefferson City High School and helping students achieve their academic and personal goals in biology and beyond.
