Welcome! To the JCHS choir members and music appreciation scholars, I'm glad to have you!

I graduated from Truman State University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and in 2024 with a Master of Arts in Education. I had the most wonderful time student teaching at Kirksville High School last spring and can't wait to share what I've learned and experienced with the Jeff City school community! Piano and voice are my primary and most favorite instruments. Outside of music, I enjoy swimming—having competed on Truman's team for four years—reading, painting, gaming, and driving with the windows rolled completely down.

I hope to inspire in our classroom a love of learning and an eagerness to participate in the world of music all around us—not just as consumers but as creators of music ourselves. Being an ensemble member makes us a part of something bigger than any one of us. In the choir classroom, we're working together to build confidence, connect to each other, and make beautiful art along the way. This year will be a blast!
