Jefferson City High School

After earning my Associate Arts Degree from Southeastern Community College in Burlington, Iowa, I earned my Bachelors Degree in Art Education from Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois. I have been teaching Secondary Art for 18 years. I taught Art 1 at Simonsen 9th Grade Center for 7 years and I decided it was time to make a move to JCHS in 2012. I am excited about the opportunity to teach students about art and ceramics and watch their skills and creativity grow.
