Welcome to my web page! I have been a teacher in the Jefferson City Public Schools since 1996. I have taught at Lewis and Clark, Thomas Jefferson, Jefferson City High School, Simonsen, Jefferson City Academic Center and now am back at the high school.
I am so excited to be back at JC. I spent most of my years teaching here at JC high school. My classroom at the time was on the third floor. Currently, I am in room 354 on Nichols' side. I miss my mobile unit that used to be in the Nichols back lot, but change is good. In my early years of teaching at JC I was the head cheerleading coach. Lots of people don't know that. I have many former athletes who will let you know that we were very good and athletic. While coaching as head coach, we won two first place championships and, as an assistant, one first place championship and one third.
I have been married to my husband, Jeff for over 20 years! We have three children. My oldest daughter, Annabelle, is currently playing college volleyball and earning her MBA. My son, Tripp, is a sophomore at Mizzou. My baby, Quinn, is 12 and is in 7th grade. She loves anything except strangers. We spend many of our weekends traveling and watching the kids play sports.
